QUALITY CONTROL FOR WELDING
The characteristics of the materials used to weld, such as solidity and resilience are developing constantly. Hence, welded joints should fulfil the materials’ guaranteed attributes in usage. The greatest factor affecting welded joints are the technique used, the personnel performing the welding and the materials used.
The quality of the welded joint can best be ensured by certifying the technique, the personnel and by using only qualified welding techniques and personnel.
The acts and regulations in force on pressure equipment (Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC) insist on the certification of welding practices and personnel on behalf of either the company or the certification institution.

Certified welding instructions through trial welding
The professional skill of our inspectors is available starting from the preliminary instructions for welding.
We monitor the trial welding after which we monitor the performing, monitoring and documenting of destructive and non-destructive tests.
On the basis of the created material from the trial welding your company can draw up welding instructions, which can be accepted by a notified body.
Certification of welders by a notified body
A local inspector can monitor the certification examination, after which Inspecta will grant a certificate of qualification.
In the certification of welders, your company’s quality system makes it possible for you to monitor the certification examination yourself.
