INSPECTION SERVICES OF EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS

Inspecta also offers inspection of automatic extinguishing systems. We also perform these inspections carefully and professionally. You can always rely on our work; after all, the cornerstones of our activities are complete impartiality and independence.

Inspections before installation
Inspection before installation should be performed before the final assessment and implementation of a construction or part of a construction equipped with an automatic extinguishing system. Inspections verify carefully and with the use of spot checks that the system is operative and in accordance to requirements provided for installation and that it corresponds to the certificate of installation. Inspections can also be made in connection with installation.

Periodical inspections
The periodical inspection of automatic extinguishing systems should be carried out every two years. However, with residential buildings and gas extinguishing systems the interval between inspections can be four years.

Periodical inspections ensure carefully and with use of spot checks that:

  1. the system is operative and has been repaired in accordance to a maintenance programme
  2. the system adheres to the certificate of installation or, if the factors affecting the inspection of the location or other factors affecting the formulation of the design of the system have been changed, still conforms to requirements
  3. necessary certificates exist for work carried out on the expansion, alteration and reparation of the system
  4. equipment designs, charts and instructions are available at the location.

Certificate of inspection
A certificate of inspection for the installation and periodical inspection should be provided to the owner, administrator or other representative of the location. A certificate of inspection of installation and the certificates for the two last periodical inspections should be kept at the location.
